Legal framework for the use of our services and products in the field of windows, doors, and modern home design.
These terms apply to all contracts for the delivery and installation of windows, doors, and blind systems by BG Windows & Doors GmbH, Marek-Weis-Weg 176. Deviating terms of the customer are not recognized unless we expressly agree to them in writing.
A contract is only concluded upon our written order confirmation. Offers are non-binding and without obligation, unless expressly agreed otherwise. The customer is bound to their order for up to 14 days after receipt.
The subject of the service is the delivery and, if applicable, installation of the products specifically designated in the order. Changes to design, color, or material are reserved, provided they are reasonable for the customer and do not significantly impair functionality.
All prices are in euros plus statutory value-added tax. Payments are made in advance or by agreement. In the event of late payment, we are entitled to demand default interest at a rate of 5 percentage points above the base interest rate.
Delivery dates are non-binding unless expressly confirmed in writing as binding. The risk passes to the customer as soon as the goods leave the factory. If installation is carried out by us, the risk passes upon acceptance of the service.
We provide a warranty for defects existing at the time of handover for a period of two years. The customer must notify us of defects in writing without undue delay. In the case of justified defects, we choose between rectification or replacement delivery.
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, limb, or health. Otherwise, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable contractual damage. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
The collection, processing, and use of personal data is carried out in accordance with our privacy policy. The customer consents to their data being used for contract processing and customer care.
The customer may withdraw from the contract if we do not perform the service despite a reasonable grace period. We may terminate if the customer does not pay despite a reminder or refuses acceptance. In both cases, claims for damages are reserved.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent legally permissible, the registered office of our company. Should a provision be invalid, the contract remains otherwise effective.
